North on the N2 you are on the Wild Coast road: Butterworth in an hour and a half, the Coffee Bay turnoff at about three hours, Port St Johns at four. The tar ends before most of the good bits, and the side roads down to the coast are gravel and can be rough after rain. South-west takes you to Stutterheim and Komani and eventually up towards the southern Drakensberg.
