What is covered
On the campers that carry Kampi insurance, cover includes third-party liability up to R5 million, comprehensive cover for damage to the camper in an accident, theft of the camper from a secured location, and personal accident cover for the primary driver. Some owners carry their own cover instead, and the listing says which.
What is not covered
Damage caused by negligence (driving into a low bridge, overloading, using the wrong fuel). Theft of personal belongings. Loss of earnings due to a broken booking.
How to claim
Report the incident within 24 hours to [email protected] with photos, a police case number (if applicable), and a short written statement. Kampi manages the claim end-to-end.
