Caravan Rental near Mapungubwe National Park

Mapungubwe National Park is at the very top of South Africa, where the Limpopo and Shashe rivers meet at the borders of Zimbabwe and Botswana. It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognised both for its ecology and for the remains of a 13th-century African kingdom. The Mazhou Campsite has 10 camping sites with power, ablutions, a splash pool, and a shop. It's a long drive (520 km from Pretoria), but the combination of game drives, ancient history, and wide-open Limpopo landscapes makes it worth the trip.
