Caravan Rental for Kruger Park (Skukuza)

Skukuza is Kruger's flagship camp — the biggest and best-equipped rest camp in the park. It sits on the banks of the Sabie River and has everything: restaurants, a golf course, a museum, fuel station, and well-maintained caravan stands with power and water. The surrounding bush is prime Big Five territory. It's about 5 hours from Gauteng via the N4 and Numbi or Paul Kruger gates. Rent a camper on Kampi, drive east, and make Skukuza your base for exploring southern and central Kruger.

About Kruger National Park — Skukuza

Skukuza is centrally located in southern Kruger, making it a great base for exploring in multiple directions. The H4-1 south along the Sabie River to Lower Sabie is one of the park's top game drives. North toward Satara takes you into open grassland and big cat country. The Sabie River bridge at camp is a reliable spot for leopard sightings — they hang out in the riverine forest below. Lake Panic bird hide, a short drive from camp, is a photographer's dream. The camp also has a 9-hole golf course and the Stevenson-Hamilton Library for some Kruger history.
